We are currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to become part of our dynamic team in our Lakewood, NJ corporate headquarters.

The candidate will:

  • Lead automation projects with capital budgets in excess of $1mm.
  • Apply improvement methodologies (i.e., Lean Mfg/Six Sigma) to products or production processes to improve product quality and/or production efficiency.
  • Develop formal engineering practices that establish standard operating procedures ¢ Develop formal engineering practices that establish standard operating procedures and best practices for measurement, sampling, communication, data collection, product transport, and other opportunities for process excellence.
  • Lead capital projects to add plant capacity as well as improve quality to meet company metrics.

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Materials Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in manufacturing engineering leading capital projects.
  • Proficiency with root cause analysis and statistical methods
  • Experienced in cutting edge automation equipment and implementation
  • Familiarity with the ISO 9001 and/or the ISO 13485 standards.
  • Knowledge of OSHA 1910 Standard.
  • Proficient in design software (Autocad, Pro/E, Solidworks)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Project, Word, Excel and Access.
  • Able to effectively interface with other engineering disciplines/organizations, factory floor employees, and senior management.
  • Strong analytical and creative troubleshooting skills
  • Must be able to wear personal safety equipment, including safety glasses and safety shoes.

  • Bi-lingual (English and Spanish)
  • Six Sigma Certified
  • Statistical Process Control
  • Lean Manufacturing Experience
  • Experience implementing a barcode project in industry
  • Successful track record competitively bidding for capital equipment

We are currently seeking a QA Manage to become part of our dynamic team in our Lakewood, NJ corporate headquarters.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervising QA staff to ensure that appropriate testing methods and procedure are followed; monitor the performance and development of QA Staff.
  • Defining quality procedures are developed and updated in conjunction with operating staff;
  • Setting QA compliance objectives and ensuring that targets are achieved
  • Ensuring compliance with national and international standards and legislation;
  • Working with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from external suppliers;
  • Liaising with customers' auditors and ensuring the execution of corrective action and compliance with customers' specifications;
  • Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service.

REQUIREMENTS

BS Degree and have a minimum of 7 years relevant experience in quality control and quality management in a manufaturing environment. They must have curren knowledge of quality systems, procedures, m ethods, and philsophy. Black Belt certification desired.

We are currently seeking Industrial Mechanics to join our dedicated and professional team in our Lakewood, NJ facility.

The Industrial Mechanic will trouble shoot and repair electrical and mechanical problems. Must be able to read electrical/electronic schematics, mechanical drawings and blueprints. Experience with machine shop equipment would be preferred but not required. Experience with NC equipment air compressors, blister pack, poucher & production welding equipment is preferred. Must have experience in troubleshooting and programming PLC's (Allen Bradley, Seimens).

Auto Weld Tech Support back to top

We are currently seeking an Automatic Weld Technician to join our dedicated and professional team in our Lakewood, NJ facility.

The Auto Weld Tech will monitor and control pcs/hr and quality levels being produced on auto welders. Trouble shoot and fix programming and electrical problems/Trouble shoot and fix mechanical problems. Communicate with Process Manager, techs from other shifts, Engineering and Tool Room personnel regarding auto welding operations. Assist Process Manager in cross training replacement techs. Conduct safety and housekeeping audits as required to maintain a safe and clean work area. Conduct scheduled maintenance on all auto welding machinery and equipment.

Machinist, toolmaker (5 to 10yrs) or 2 year formal engineering training. Excellent knowledge of turning, welding of small production pieces and drill bits quality requirements. Good knowledge of welding procedures and processes. Ability to interpret blueprint specs. Ability to properly use measurement devises such as micrometers, go/no gauges. Basic understanding of pneumatic systems, bowl and mechanical troubleshooting procedures. Tool maker or machinist certificate. Willing to 12 hour shifts (4 on/3 off shifts) 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
