Tom Gallop
Tom is an owner and CEO of SS White. His experience includes heading up Sales and Marketing, and leading the development of new products that are used around the world by over 50,000 doctors. Several of these products were co-developed with Dr. Dan Boston and Temple University. Tom is passionate about the conservation of healthy tissue and efficiency, and has a high interest in helping great doctors build great practices. Tom began his career at Kodak, as a technical sales rep. He earned a BA from the University of South Carolina in 1987 with a double major in Management and Marketing. Tom is a member or post-member of several boards, including SS White, Dental Trade Association Foundation and Temple University’s School of Dentistry Board of Visitors. As a member of the DTA Foundation, he chairs the DTA Foundation/ADA Give Kids A Smile Symposium. Tom and his wife, Michelle, reside in Boulder, Colorado with their three children. Together they enjoy hiking, reading, travel and golf.
Matt Hill
Matt joined SS White Burs, Inc as Chief Financial Officer in February of 2010 Prior to joining SS White, Matt was Chief Financial Officer of a publicly traded specialty-pharma company focused on the development, licensing and commercialization of products in the pet health field and Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Operations of a publicly-held medical device company focused on the field of cardiac rhythm management. Matt has also held various positions, up to the level of senior manager of the international accounting and auditing organization of Grant Thornton International. Mr. Hill holds a Bachelors of Science degree from Lehigh University.
Maritza Milanes
Maritza is currently the Vice President of Human Resources at SS White. She is a human resources generalist with over 20 years experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, financial and chemical industries. Her experience includes leadership development, strategic staffing (domestic/international), mergers/acquisition, and employee/labor relations. She has an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University and has been SPHR certified since 1998. She also holds a Six Sigma Green Belt Certification.
Wayne Boylan
Wayne's work experience includes leadership roles in manufacturing and supply chain management. Most of the companies where he's worked served the medical and pharmaceutical industries. His educational background includes an MBA from St John’s University. He have achieved certifications in Purchasing, Materials Management, Six Sigma and as a ISO Auditor.
Dave Zeiss
Dave is a NJ native and attended Rutgers University receiving a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. After spending several years doing product design for several companies, where he received 5 patents for design, he migrated into manufacturing, quality and distribution. It was there that Dave became a Six Sigma Black Belt. Dave has been lucky enough to travel extensively to Asia, Europe and Mexico and has been exposed to a wide variety of manufacturing methods and products.
Brant Miles
Brant has over 22 years of Sales and Marketing experience in the dental industry, the last 14 years with SS White. He manages Business and Product Development, Customer Service, Dealer Relations and other associated marketing activities in North America, Latin America, Europe and Asia.
Jim Smit
Jim has been part of the SS White family since 2002. Prior to his promotion to Director of Sales in 2008, he was leading our sales efforts as a Senior Account Manager in territories such as Latin America, Russia, and India. Jim is bi-lingual and has traveled to more than fifty different countries. He honorably served in the U.S. Air Force for eight years as a Joint Terminal Attack Controller. He was recognized for his contributions in helping train more than 180 military personnel from twenty-two different countries during the NATO-led multi-national peacekeeping force in Bosnia and Herzegovina. A recognition that earned him the NATO service medal.
